4 - Lubricate and Assemble the Stitch Head - Lubricate the Cutter Adjustment Bar and Slide Plate

G8 Stitch Head Maintenance Kit Instructions

4.6.2

Fit the Cutter Box Adjustment Stud. Lot 17 stitch heads onward.

For Lot 17 stitch heads and later, the design of the cutter box adjustment stud is dif-
ferent and has plain washers with a compression spring.

Step

Action

Information

Fit 2 x cutter block adjustment wash-
ers (A) to the 801-729 cutter block
adjustment stud.

Fit the spring (B) then the remaining
2 x cutter block adjustment washers
(A).

Fit the cutter block adjustment stud
assembly to the stitch head.

•

Completely tighten the cutter
block adjustment stud.

Fit and tighten the M5 nut.
