4 - Lubricate and Assemble the Stitch Head - Lubricate the Cutter Adjustment Bar and Slide Plate

G8 Stitch Head Maintenance Kit Instructions

Check that the cutter adjustment
bar moves freely.

• Hold the cutter adjustment bar

between thumb and finger.

• Slide the cutter adjustment bar

from side to side.

The cutter adjustment bar must
move freely and without tight spots
for the complete range of move-
ment which is approximately 9mm.

If the cutter adjustment bar does
not move freely, then loosen the
cutter box adjustment stud a fur-
ther 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn as needed.

• 1/8 turn is 45°.
• 1/4 turn is 90°.

When the adjustment is correct,
use a screwdriver to hold the cut-
ter box adjustment stud in position
and tighten the M5 nut.
