4 - Lubricate and Assemble the Stitch Head - Lubricate and Fit the Feed Gear Bracket Assembly

G8 Stitch Head Maintenance Kit Instructions

Step

Action

Information

Remove the fixing screw and
replace the friction strip.

Fit the friction spring and the new
friction strip but leave the friction
strip and spring moved away from
the large feed gear assembly.

Do not tighten completely the fixing
screw.

Remove the large feed gear assem-
bly. Push the feed pinion assembly
from the large feed gear.

Lubricate the feed pinion assembly
and the feed pinion shaft.

Lubricate the large feed gear assem-
bly.

Fit the feed pinion assembly to the
large feed gear.

Fit the large feed gear assembly
onto the feed pinion shaft.

Lubricate the feed pinion.
