Inserting a plastic bobbin in the hook race

What do I do with the lower thread?

Using the index finger on your right hand, hold the

‹plastic bobbin›

firmly

and guide the thread to the left around the hook race (9 o’clock position)
keeping it taut.

The thread slides between the tension springs with a soft click.

Pull the lower thread through the white slot on the thread cutter
where the lower thread is cut.

the hook

race with

the

plastic

bobbin

cover.

The

bobbin

cover is

in the

correct

position if

it clicks

into

place

when

inserted.
