Foot pressure regulator

5.13

Drop feed lever

If you move the lever to the left, the feed dogs are lowered. To raise the feed
dogs again, move the lever to the right and turn the ‹hand wheel› forwards
towards you five times.

Lever: to raise and lower the feed dogs

5.14

Knee lifter

You can raise and lower the presser foot using the knee lifter. This leaves both
hands free to guide the fabric.

CAUTION

Risk of injury posed by breaking needles

If you use the knee lifter during sewing, the needle may break. There is a risk of
injury posed by uncontrolled, moving parts.
