Winding a new W6 plastic bobbin

What do I do with the lower thread?

Carry out the following steps:

1.

  Hold the end of the thread you have threaded through the hole in the

‹plastic bobbin›

 tight.

2.

  Carefully press the 

‹foot controller›

 until the thread has been wound 

around the 

‹spool›

 several times.

!

Make sure that the machine winds the ‹plastic bobbin› evenly.

!

If the 

‹plastic bobbin›

 is not wound evenly, stop the winding 

process immediately and re-thread from scratch.
Please note: if the lower thread is wound to tightly onto the bobbin 
and can no longer be pulled from the bobbin winder spindle, we 
recommend simply removing pulling the excess jammed thread off 
by hand.

3.

Cut the excess thread on the bobbin off using the scissors.

4.

  Press the 

‹foot controller›

, until the machine’s winding process  stops 

automatically.

!

Make sure that the thread is tensioned during the winding process. 
An excessively loose upper thread can quickly pull itself under the 
‹bobbin winder spindle› during the winding process, which leads to 
jamming.

  Push

the 

‹bobbin

winder 

spindle›

back to 

the left.

6.

  Cut

off the 

upper

thread 

before removing the 

‹plastic bobbin›

.
