4.2 Run-Time Error Codes
In real-time operation, the computer screen displays the following messages should a software
error occur: The appropriate action must be taken before attempting to restart the system.
ERROR MESSAGE PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Error: Live Mode not available. Configuration File error. Level 2
– configuration file reset.
Impossible to capture the video
Failed to get image/jpeg encoder (warning)
Faulty Camera. Level 2
– test the Camera using the
camera’s testing software.
Error: Image Display error. Attempt to
display an image from the thumbnails and
one of the thumbnail views does not show. Software error. Repeat the scan to see if the error
can be reproduced.
Level 3
–software update required.
Print function fails.
Error: impossible to open the report file.
Error loading bitmap.
Occurs when using Output/Report/*.bmp -
MSG: Save file black and white open error.
External device does not have sufficient
memory for the save function. Place the USB into the USB slot and
select Print Screen on the keyboard.
Selecting print sends the information
on the current scan to a storage
device plugged into the USB port.
Ensure there is sufficient space on
the USB key.
