The test step wedges are of a size that is easily transportable and do not cover the entire
surface in one scan. Normally 2 scans per material can cover the conveyor belt. Each scan
covers a specific area of the conveyor belt surface from 1 to 704 (which are the total
number of detectors).
4. Choose an area of interest on the scanned image.
The
Region 1
text area populates with the X-axis coordinate of the region of interest (ROI).
Calibration areas of interest must be selected from thinnest to thickest.
5. Complete all the Regions by selecting a
Regions Delimitation
, highlighting an area of
interest, and selecting a different area on each of the steps of the step wedge. For example,
if using Plexiglas there will be 10 Regions that much be completed as there are 10 steps in
the step wedge.
6. Click
Lock Plexiglas calibration
after all the Regions have been set.
If there is a Region that is blank, a yellow error message stating “missing detectors” appears.
If all the Regions contain a value, this also signifies the application is ready for the next
archive.
7. Click
Load Second Plexiglas Archive
to load the second Plexiglas scan from the archive
folder.
8. Enter the detector range in
Top
and
Bottom
to define the detectors that are being used, for
example,
Top
: 252
Bottom
: 502.
