AINTENANCE
The XR3D-6 is a robust unit that requires minimal maintenance and the maintenance schedule
depends on the environment in which it functions. For example, though the Calibration and the
X-ray System tests are performed on initial installation, it is recommended that a certified VOTI
technician performs a 6-month or 1-year.

3.1 Cleaning
The XR3D-6 may require dusting or cleaning, specifically around the photoelectric sensor/emitter
apertures, the camera, or the conveyor belt. Cleaning or dusting should be performed using
compressed air or a damp cloth.
1. Turn off the power to the XR3D-6 and tie a Do not Operate tag to the Circuit Breaker.
2. Remove any dirt or other debris from the camera surface or the photoelectric sensor/emitter
holes (in the tunnel) using a can of compressed air.
3. If any dirt or liquid has been spilled on the conveyor belt, clean with a gentle detergent on a
damp cloth.
Do not use the detergent directly on the conveyor belt to prevent spillage into the electronics.
