AIR FILTER DISCHARGE VALVE
The discharge valve of the air filter is
located on the air filter base. To clean
the cube, press the discharge valve
shaking down the dust and smut
accumulated in its inner part.
Periodically check if the gap of the
discharge valve is not obstructed.
FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
1- Never disconnect the high-pressure tubes with the engine in operation, because
the operating pressure is extremely high.
If necessary, switch off the engine and wait at least 20 minutes (with the
disactivated engine) to carry out procedures in the injection system.
2- Never open any high-pressue tube to perform the air bleed because the high-
pressure system may lead to accidents.
3- Contact a Representative to continue the maintenance at the fuel
lines.
4- Your vehicle’s engine is equipped with a last generation injection system,
managed electronically. In order not to affect the injection system, it is fundamental
to perform the correct maintenance of the filter system using authentic parts
because they guarantee high capability of water particles retention. If the water-
presence-in-water warning light starts glowing, drain immediately the water
input filter.
FUEL FILTERS
If your vehicle is equipped with two fuel filters: one located on the right side of the
engine and the other on the front part of the Volare.
The filters are designed to protect from impurities and solids, and liquids that
comes at to the mechanical precision extreme points, such as: High Pressure
Pump and Electroinjectors.
