TOWING HOOK
When the vehicle is down or damaged and you need to tow it, do as follows:
2- Never exceed 40 km/h during towing procedure.
3- If possible, keep the engine running during this procedure to ensure the correct
lubrication of the gearbox and keep the hydraulic steering running and the brake
stystem pressurizaiton.
NOTE: If the engine is stalled, disengage the parking brake mechanically:
1- Disengage the parking brake mechanically;
2- Desconnect the crankcase shaft at the differential gear, if the distance to run is more
than 10 km. This will prevent the axles and transmission gears from rotating;
3- The steering system operates independently from the engine, although the effort
to turn the steering wheel will be harder;
4- In order to tow a vehicle with a failure in the gear box, disconnect the crankcase
shaft in the differential. This is a mandatory procedure.
5- If the differential gear is damaged, remove the axle spindles from the wheels.
Vehicles Equipped with Automatic Transmission
IMPORTANT:
Before towing the vehicle, disconnect the cranckcase at the entrance of the
differencial gear.
Non-observance of this recommendation may lead to serios damages in the
