Safety Measures on Washing the Vehicle
If the vehicle is washed with agressive agents, such as fuel, oil, etc, avoid
contact of these agents with the control module, sensors and the electronic
motor actuators.
When washing, take a special care to avoid damaging of the painting. Use,
therefore, a sponge or soft and clean cloths, neutral soap (glycerine based, for
example) and plenty of water.
Avoid applying jets under hight pressue on the painted parts of the bus body,
electronic module, sensors and electronic engine actuators (make sure that the
engine is cool). High pressure should be used only for washing of the chassis,
wheels and interior part of the wheel arch.
EXTERNAL CONSERVATION
Use a sponge or soft and clean cloths, neutral soap and plenty of
water.
Wash your bus body in the shade, and, if necessary, wash the engine,
make sure that it is cool.
To remove impurities from the lower part of the vehicle, use warm water
and neutral soap.
We recommend that you apply silicone-based wax or similar
once in three months. If during the washing you see that the water
does not form drops on the painting, the vehicle may be waxed af ter
the dr ying.
It is recommended to use a neutral biodegradable detergent, very foaming,
tension-active, with silicone. The use of silicone in the formula, due to its
light-reflecting power and the fluids that shine the surface, forming a coating
that protect the painting, lowers the surface tention of the washing processes,
increases the surface humidification, providing more interaction among the
cleaning agents and a polished surface, softening the polishing coating. All
this reduces the risk of stains.
Stains and Splashes
Splashes may occur on the painting, headlights and windshield. It is difficult to
remove them with a simple water washing.
When there are stains caused by insects stuck or vegetable resins, they may be
removed by means of lukewarm water.
Tha asphalt splashes may be easily removed with a silicone-base polisher.
Its application should be dispensed according to the product manufacturer’s
instructions.
Never use silicone-based polishing agents when washing the window panes,
because there are no effective means of removing the stains occurred in the result
of this product application.
