Routine Operation
3.1 Chapter Overview
This chapter provides basic information that will enable you to
operate your Strata RX. The settings described here are all
made using the front panel Control Switch.
Information on settings made with the RX Configurator software
can be found in the
Strata RX Technical Reference Manual,
in
the “Advanced Operation” chapter.
For a summary of what settings can be made with the front panel
Control Switch and which are made using the Configurator, see
Section 3.7 on page 3-30.

3.2 Overview of Controls
This section describes the controls and indicators used on the
RXU and RCU. Here are the topics covered:
Each of these is described in more detail in the sections that
follow. Front panel views of the RXU and RCU are shown in
Figure 3-2 on page 3-5.
The RX System may also be configured using Windows PC-
based configurator software. For details see the

3.2.1 Power Switch
The RXU and RCU each has its own front panel power switch. If
your RX System contains both an RCU and an RXU, both power
switches must be turned on for the system to function.
