For example, in Figure C-9, Preset 9 is set to FM CV Out. As a
result, the ASI option for Monitor Output is not available for
Preset 9. In addition, the MPEG and COFDM Pages will not
allow any settings to be made for Preset 9. See Figure C-11 and
Figure C-12.

C.4.3 Radio Page - Frequencies Locked to
Presets
In a standard RX System, selecting a Preset only selects the
demodulation parameters. The Channel is a separate setting.
This means when you change the Preset, the RX stays on the
Channel and Frequency it was last set to use.
For some applications you may wish to have the Preset also set
the Frequency. The ability to do this is a factory-enabled option
that must be specified when your radio is ordered.
If you have this option, your Radio Page will have two additional
columns, as shown in Figure C-10.
For each Preset you can:
• Select the Band (if your RX is dual-band). Choices are:
- Low Band
- High Band.
Low and High Bands are configured at the factory.
• Enter the Frequency
The Frequency you enter must meet certain
requirements. See Section C.4.7 on page C-13 for details.
The Frequencies you enter do
not
need to be the same as the
Channel Frequencies defined on the Channel Plan Page.
