In the “
INPUTS
"
tab incudes the configuration tabs for “
IN1
“ and “
IN2
” active low inputs.
For each input are available two operating modes:
•
“Local Bell”
•
“Trig Output”
In
“Local Bell” mode
when the input is enabled, the videophone rings with a melody that will be different from the melody of an ex-
ternal call or intercommunicating call: a typical application of this operating mode is for the bell button outside the apartment door.
In
“Trig Output”
mode, when the input is enabled, you can choose to carry out an action depending on the monitor status:
• “
IN STANDBY
” when the monitor is switched off;
• “
IN CONVERSATION AND RINGING
” when the videophone is in use because of an external call so the inputs are ignored during
intercommunicating calls.
For each input, for both operating conditions, you can
1. Disable the input: means that no actions are carried out when the input is activated.
2. Trigger relay 1 or 2 of the door panel currently connected (only for “IN CONVERSATION AND RINGING” status).
3. Trigger a specific relay of a specific door panel (i.e. “pedestrian gate” of main entrance door panel) or a specific relay of an ethernet
relay (i.e. “irrigator” of Garden ethernet relay).
4. Trigger local Output “1” or “2”: means one of the videophone’s output on that operate on terminals “OUT1” or “OUT2”.
Thanks to the inputs feature, it is possible to connect local buttons so to add direct function buttons to the existing videophone
buttons. I.e. in the example of
the “IN1” it is used to open the garden gate so to connect an internal button that allows to
open the gate while the “IN2”
it is used as “LOCAL BELL” to connect a button outside the apartment door that will ring the
videophone.
The examples mentioned above are only some of the possible uses of the inputs but being that the input status can also trigger a
remote relay, the inputs can be used in a number of ways.
The “
OUTPUTS
”
tab incudes the configuration tabs for “
OUT1
“ and “
OUT2
”; each output has two dry contacts “C” , “NO” type.
The “MODE” section allows to select the relay operating mode:
• In “
Normal
” mode, when the output is enabled the two contacts are cloed for the specified “closing time”.
• In “
Latch
” mode, on every activation, the output switches its status from close to open and from open to close.
• In “
Pulses / Ringtone Repeater
” mode, the contacts are closed for a number of times that corresponds to the pulses value and each
time are closed for the “Pulse Length” duration. If in the “GENERAL” tab this output is enabled for “RINGTONE REPEATER” use, the
output will stop to operate as soon as someone pickup the handset to answer an incoming call.
The remotization section allows to remotize the output so that when the output is enabled will be enabled also the selected remote
output: the remote output can be any relay of the ethernet relay / cloudbox connected on the network.
The “Trig Output” button allows to operate the output so to test the operation.
In the example of
the “OUT1” is configured in “Pulses / Ringtone Repeater” mode so it will be activated for 5 times with 1
second of pause and 1 second of activation while the “OUT2”
is configured to be remotized so when the “OUT2” is enabled it
will be enabled for 2 seconds and at the same time will be enabled the remote relay i.e. the “NORTH TURNSTYLE” relay.
The remote relay will be enabled according to the relevant configuration.
The videophone outputs are operated when are activated because of the inputs status or when are used as ring tone repeater.
