UTILITIES
This menu option ( Fig. 11 on page 31 ) allows to:
• “ Create site report ” under this menu option can be created a report that shows the system configuration. The report detail level
can be selected for each type of the system devices. The report allows you to have a complete view of the system in a single doc-
ument so to verify that all the programmings are carried out correctly.
• “ Copy one or more device ” under this menu option one device settings can be copied onto one or more devices. This option is
very useful for large installation were the same configuration can be repeated on one or more device (i.e. a building with more
door panels etc.). The settings that are copied are those settings that are not univocal i.e. when you copy a door panel 4533, it
copied everything except the ID and IP settings.
• “ Update one or more device ” under this menu option you can make massive firmware update of same device model. This option
is very useful for large installation allowing one operation per device model to update all devices firmware.
• “ Reset one or more device to factory defaults ” under this menu option can be reset one or more devices to their factory default
settings.
CREATE SITE REPORT
Through this menu option you can print a PDF report of the system configuration, for each type of device it is possible to specify the
report detail (
Fig. 12
) and it is possible to apply filters to select a group of devices (i.e. for large installation ). This report provides a
complete view of the system configuration so to check the correct configuration for each device.
COPY ONE OR MORE DEVICE
Through this menu option you can copy the settings of a device to one or more devices of the same type. This option is very useful
for installations where more devices can require the same settings i.e. the indoor stations of a same floor or secondary building or
the door panels of a same building. First you have to select the device type then you have to select the source device and finally one
or more destination devices( Fig. 16 )
RESET ONE OR MORE DEVICE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS
Through this menu you can select one or more devices up to all devices installed in the system (
Fig. 12
).
Once the devices that need to be reset are selected, press the button “reset devices” (
Fig. 12
) then the software asks for confirma-
tion (
Fig. 13
) , press “Yes” button then all selected devices will be reset to their factory default settings: the videophones will show
the screen in
Fig. 14
and the door panels will switch off all four LEDs.
Take care when selecting this option as all programmed settings will be lost. i.e. all device names, device network settings, button
configurations and output selections.
