Installation

The VBM-1400 is normally rack-mounted indoors near the input

source. A typical installation is shown in Figure 2-1. To install the
equipment, complete the following steps.

1.

Using proper support, locate the VBM-1400 in the 19-inch rack.

2.

Insert and tighten four screws on each corner of the front panel to
secure the unit in the rack. (Hand tighten only).

3.

When the above steps are successfully completed, initial the

table in Appendix B.

Note Installation

site preparation,
equipment location, and
cable lengths should
have been previously
determined by the user.

the equipment when lifting
or carrying. Personnel
