1.3.1 VBM-1400

Description

The VBM-1400 (Figure 1-2) is a broadband, high-speed, rack-mount

modulator that contains the components necessary to accept MPEG
frame input, apply the proper modulation/code process, and output a
continuous symbol-rate waveform at a frequency of 50 – 90, 100 – 180

MHz, (PN: 1028373) or L-Band (950 – 1450 MHz) (PN: 1018903). The
output is used as the modulated intermediate frequency (IF) for a
satellite transmitter.
