Recall the memory channel to be named.

2.

Recall this Menu, then press the [BAND(BND DN)] key momentarily.

3.

Press the [MAIN]/[SUB] key or keypad to select the desired first letter, number, or
symbol.
Example 1: Press the [MAIN] or [SUB] key to select any of ?? available characters

(including letters, numbers, and special symbols).

Example 2: Press the [2(DW)] key repeatedly to toggle among the seven available

Rotate the DIAL one click clockwise to save the first letter/number/symbol.

Repeat step 3 and 4 as necessary to complete.

Basic Setup #12 [MW MODE]
Function: Select the method of the Memory Writhing.
Available Values: LOWER CH/NEXT CH

NEXT CH: Store to the next memory channel which is last stored memory channel

Basic Setup #13 [SKIP MODE]
Function: Set the scan “flag” to the Memory channel.
Available Values: OFF/SKIP/PRFCL
Default: OFF
SKIP: The scanner is “skipped.”
PRFCL: The scanner is only checked the channels which have this “flag.”

Basic Setup #14 [HYP WRITE]
Function: Enable/disable the Hyper Memory Writing
Available Values: ENABLE/DISABLE
Default: ENABLE

Display Setup #1 [BUSY LED]
Function: Enable/disable the BUSY LED (“I-Beam”) while the Squelch is open.
Available Values: ON/OFF
Default: ON
