Turn power disconnect/lockout switch to the
“I” (ON) position, page 28.
Make sure covers and guards are securely
closed, attached and fastened. Check for
bent or twisted covers or guards that will
prevent switches from lining up. See “Covers
and Guards”, page 34.
Wait 5 minutes. Press “RESET” button. See
“Machine Overload or Jam”, page 31.
Check amplifier. See “Amplifier”, page 48 or
“Wiring Diagram”, pages 80 & 81.
Check motor, transformer and amplifier fuses.
See “Inspection”, pages 46–49.
Inspect electrical system. See “Inspection”,
pages 46–49.
Check motor fuses, transformer and amplifier
fuses. See “Inspection”, pages 46–49.
Replace worn or frayed belts and adjust belt
tension. Make sure belts are clean, dry and
free of grease. Check for worn pulley
grooves.

Perform complete electrical check on motor
starter. See “Wiring Diagram”, pages 80 & 81.
Contact Urschel Laboratories for location of
nearest authorized motor service center.
