8. Install the air cleaner housing
cover and secure with the clips.
9. Lower the cab to the original
position. Refer “Cab lowering”
in Chapter 8.
A i r c l e a n e r : S e c o n d a r y f i l t e r
replacement
1. Tilt the cab. Refer “Cab tilting”
in Chapter 8.
2. Unlock the air cleaner cover
clips and remove the cover.
3. Remove the air cleaner primary
filter.
NOTE
Make sure that the arrow mark
o n t h e a i r c l e a n e r f i l t e r i s
vertical.
NOTE
It is recommended to use UD air
cleaner filter. Do not use an
inferior filter.
CAUTION
If the clips are not fully installed,
it can cause defect in the filter
packing surface and allows dust
into the engine. This will in-turn
cause premature wear of pistons
and liners.
NOTE
Replace air cleaner secondary
filter after every third primary
filter replacement.
NOTE
Make sure that the engine air
inlet is blocked in a proper way
to avoid dust particle entry.
