7 DISMOUNTING
Operations for dismounting depend upon any of the follow-
ing situations:
• uncoupling of the POLYMAT seed drill from the
ROTERRA/ CULTITERRA harrow;
• uncoupling of the combination as such;
• uncoupling of the POLYLINER front tank.
7.1
Uncoupling of the POLYMAT from
the ROTERRA
®
or CULTITERRA
®
Proceed as follows:
• Set the eradicator tine of the ROTERRA power harrow in
the upright position.
• Unfold the ROTERRA/CULTITERRA-POLYMAT com-
bination.
• Place the combination on the ground.
• Put the parking jacks of the POLYMAT coulter beams
down (position
fig. 23).
• Disengage the air hose from the feed-through tube on the
tractor.
• Disconnect the distribution cover of the ROTERRA/
CULTITERRA harrow with the help of the three linkage
pins (fig. 5). Rest the unit on the intended supports (fig.
24).
• Disconnect the sensor cable of the right-hand hydraulic
ram. Remove both hydraulic rams and adjust them to
transport position (fig. 25).
• Disengage the yokes (4x) of the packer roller’s support
beam (fig. 3).
• Drive the ROTERRA or CULTITERRA harrow carefully
forwards.
7.2
Uncoupling of the combination
Uncouple as follows;
• Set the ROTERRA power harrows eradicator tine in the
upright position (fig. 24).
• Unfold the ROTERRA/CULTITERRA-POLYMAT com-
bination.
• Place the combination on the ground.
