Resume the operation as follows.
• Lift the machine.
• Drive a few metres backwards in order to avoid a gap in the
seed bed.
• Engage the PTO shafts.
• Lower the machine.
• Increase the PTO up to 1000 rpm
• If valid: engage the hydraulic fan motor.
• Lower the coulters and marker while driving forwards and
press the HOLD button again to cancel the interruption.

Turning on headlands
Proceed as follows when turning on headlands.
• Reduce the PTO speed.
• Lift the POLYLINER front tank as well as the
ROTERRA/CULTITERRA-POLYMAT combination.
• Make a turn with the tractor.
• Lower the machines.
• Increase the PTO up to operating speed as fast as possible.
• Lower the coulters and marker while driving.
Lifting the ROTERRA power harrow is bound to lead to
variable motion in the drive because the PTO shaft is out
of alignment.
Observe the following instructions.
• Do not raise the machine any further than necessary for
turning.
• Maintain the lowest possible PTO speed when the machine
is in the lifted position.
If the angle to be made by the PTO shaft exceeds a certain
value, the variable motion may become too dramatic as a
result.
Observe the following instructions;
• Disengage the PTO shaft when the ROTERRA power
harrow is only just above the ground.
• Re-engage the PTO shaft when the ROTERRA power
harrow is a few cm above ground level.
