2.1
Mounting the POLYMAT
®
Mount the ROTERRA power harrow or CULTITERRA
harrow behind the tractor (see Operator’s Manual).
To couple the POLYMAT to the ROTERRA/
CULTITERRA harrow proceed as follows:
• Fit the yokes (4x) of the coulter units to the support beam
of the packer roller (fig.3).
• Fit the hydraulic rams (2x) to the fixation supports of the
POLYMAT with the help of the linkage pins (fig. 4).
• Connect the hydraulic hoses of the ram for lifting the
coulter bar to a double acting valve which should have a
floating position. For more information please consult
supplement C1 “Diagram hydraulic connections Polymat
400CH”.
• Connect the sensor cable of the right-hand hydraulic ram.
Adjust the sensor height according to the instructions on
the sensor housing (air gap of 10 mm as a maximum).
• Fit the distribution cover of the harrow by means of the
three linkage pins and the locking.
Connect the air hose to the feed-through tubes on the
tractor.
