Warning
If the traction control is disabled, the
motorcycle will handle as normal but
without traction control. In this
situation accelerating too hard on wet/
slippery road surfaces may cause the
rear wheel to slip, and may result in
loss of motorcycle control and an
accident.
To Disable the TTC
To access the traction control settings:
• With the motorcycle stationary and
in neutral, turn the ignition to the
ON position.
• Press and release the SET button
on the left hand switch housing
until SEtUP is shown in the display
screen.
• Press and release the SCROLL
button until ttc is shown.
• Press the SET button and On or
OFF will be displayed.
• Press and release the SCROLL
button until OFF is shown in the
display screen.
• Pressing the SET button will disable
the TTC system; OFF will be
displayed for two seconds, and the
TTC disabled warning light will be
illuminated.
• Press the HOME button and trip 1
will be shown in the display screen.
To Enable the TTC
To enable the TTC system again,:
• Repeat the TTC disable procedure
and select On.
• Press the HOME button and trip 1
will be shown in the display screen.
• An alternative way to enable the
TTC system is to turn the ignition
off and on.
ABS Disable (Tiger XR Only)
It is possible to temporarily disable the
ABS system. The ABS system cannot be
permanently disabled, it will be
automatically enabled when the ignition
is turned off and then on again.
Warning
Do not attempt to adjust the ABS
settings while the motorcycle is in
motion as this may lead to loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
If the ABS is disabled, the brake system
will function as a non-ABS braking
system.
In this situation braking too hard will
cause the wheels to lock, and may
result in loss of motorcycle control and
an accident.
