9.6 Energy Offset

M-100LPM-46KP has built-in OEM laser power sensor for laser power testing both in

the process of marking and independently in the manual mode. During the measurement the
beam is directed to the beam dump mounted underneath of the scanner. The scaled signal is
displayed on the laser parameters screen. The scanner deflects the laser beam toward the sensor
for a specified period of time. The beam dump should be placed as far from the focus of the
objective as possible. Do not measure the laser power without objective and telescope in place.

Energy Offset screen is used to direct the beam into the beam dump during power

measurement process.

Laser On

turns the pilot beam on.

Laser Off

turns the beam off.

Arrows

move the beam into corresponding direction.

Save

button saves the current setting.

Cancel

closes the window without saving cha
