Set SHG/THG

are set temperatures of the laser crystals and should not be changed

unless advised by the factory representative.

Spot Position

defines the position of the THG crystal and should not be changed

unless advised by the factory representative.

Read only Parameters

Diode Current(Amp) and Set Diode Current

relates to the power of the Diode

Pump

SHG Temperature

displays the temperature of the laser second harmonic crystal

and is used for diagnostic purposes only.

THG Temperature

displays the temperature of the laser third harmonic crystal and

is used for diagnostic purposes only.

Spot hours

displays the total time for THG crystal sitting in a certain position

(spot # 1) The crystal ages over time and has to be moved to the next position
when the drop of output power is detected.

Laser Power (W)

displays the laser power measured during the last energy testing.

Diode and Tower Temperatures

are used for diagnostic purposes only.

Activate/Deactivate Laser button turns the laser on/off. The action of the button is

determined by the current state of the laser. The status label reads “Laser On” when laser is
activated and “Laser Off” when the laser is off.

Start/Stop Energy Test initiates a Pulse Energy Test.
Save Parameters button saves the new set up.
Back returns to the previous screen.

Laser ON/OFF

button turns the laser diode on/off

QSW ON/OFF

button turns the Q-Switch on and off

Scan Low and High

display the travel limits for the crystal moving stage

Temperature

boxes display the current and set temperatures of the laser crystals and diode.

Arrow

buttons are used to change the values.

Save

button saves the current setting.

Start Power Test

moves the laser beam into the predetermined position and turns the Q-Switch

on. The button is disabled when laser diode is off.
