Marking Scale
defines the font size of the message. The message appears on the blue
strip in the picture box. The width of the blue strip corresponds to the selected wire
gauge. For proper marking the characters size should not exceed the strip width.
•
Line Spacing
defines horizontal distance (in bits) between the nearest vertical lines of
marking dots within a character. Smaller distance or higher resolution (dpi) makes
message look darker. On the other hand, that takes longer to mark. For the standard
system, the lines of dots overlap if Line Spacing is less than 30 bits. Setting the Line
Spacing to “0” will remove all vertical lines leaving the contour only.
•
Contour
checkbox is used to mark the outline of a character. Refer to Chapter 10.2 for
the details
•
Vertical
should be checked for
marking along the wire. Vertical (tower) mode allows
printing a larger character as compare to the horizontal (across the wire) orientation. That
can significantly improve marking legibility especially for the small diameter wires (e.g.
gauge 20 to 26).
NB
Saving the assembly (fig.9.2) with modified parameters for a given wire type will
automatically assign these parameters to any wire of this type in the all earlier saved assemblies.
Modified parameters for the “None” type wires will be saved for the current assembly only.
RUN
button switch the system into operation mode.
Run Screen
The
Run
screen is shown on Fig.9.5. On the left side is a list of all the wires in the
current job. A job may be run completely or partially by selecting a specific wire from which to
begin. The Run screen always loads with the first wire highlighted.
•
Current
Wire
text box displays the current order number of the highlighted wire in
the job. On the other hand, changing the number in the box selects/highlights the
corresponding wire in the list. As machine moves through production of the wires the
highlighted bar moves down the list to indicate currently processed wire.
•
Total
Wire
displays total number of wires in the list.
•
Total
Quantity
determines how many sets of wires will be printed. One set consists
of all the wires in the list. Machine prints the entire set first and then repeats the
cycle. The Run screen always loads single quantities (1set). Enter the required
quantity to process multiple sets.
•
Current
Quantity
displays the amount of sets processed up to the moment.
•
Remaining Length
is the total length of wires in the list that have not been
processed yet
•
Processed Length
is the amount of length that has been processed for the current
wire.
