Laser On
button turns the pilot beam on.
•
Laser Off
button turns the beam off.
•
The
up/down
and
left/right
arrows move the beam across and along the wire
respectively.
•
Test
button is used for checking the alignment.
•
Save
button saves current setting.
•
Pull
button moves the stepping motors the length specified in
Pull Length.
•
Marking window
defines the length of the marking zone along the wire.
•
Angle
defines the difference between X axis of the scanner and wire center line.
Make an alignment in the following order:
1.
Load 20 to 24 gauge wire.
2.
Turn on the laser.
3.
Observe low power beam footprint on the wire
4.
Using the arrows move the beam to the left side of the wire channel as shown on Fig.9.8.
5.
Click Save button to save start-mark position. Every message will be printed starting
from this position and farther to the right.
6.
Press the Test button. The beam should jump to the right on a distance specified in the
Marking Window. Check for the beam footprint on the wire.
7.
If the footprint is not on wire center line change the angle and press the Test button again.
8.
Repeat step 7 until the beam footprint is on the wire center.
9.
Click
SAVE
button
