Is the output from the high-voltage trans-

former normal?

Is any foreign object such as dust stick-

ing to the transfer charger wire?

Remove the foreign object.

Clean or adjust the terminal.

Replace the drum.

Replace the discharge lamp or clean the terminals.

Check the drive system of the developer unit, or

clean the sleeve surface.

Check each drive system.

Check the leakage and circuit.

Replace the high-voltage transformer if it is defec-

tive.

Remove the foreign object from the wire.
