TLDI 115A 2007

When removing the air rail, leave the air injectors on the

cylinder side.

Loosen three bolts

that secure air rail, and remove air

rail ass'y

carefully.

After removing air rail ass'y, remove four air injectors

and air injector set pieces

Turn each fuel injector carefully to loosen O ring, and

insert bladed screw drivers from both sides to remove it up

straight evenly.

CAUTION

Handle fuel injectors carefully. Impacting

their tips can cause malfunction.

Be careful not to drop O ring located on the air

injectors.

Pull the air rail straight without applying force to

the air injectors.

When removing the air injectors, pull out them

straight without applying force to their tips.

Disconnect fuel injector cord wires before

removing the air rail.

Refer to "Chapter 5 Removing Cord Ass'y.
