8. Accessing the product information
New users may benefit from the basic product information that can be accessed from the Menu screen.
8.1 Understanding the product features
On the Live view screen, tap the Home button ( )

Brief information about the product's features is displayed on the screen.
8.2 Viewing the product information
On the Live view screen, tap the Home button ( )

to view product
information, or to initialize the system settings or DriveX statistics. The following product information and
the menus for initializing system settings/DriveX statistics will be played on the screen.

Tap the
Reset
button next to Reset Settings to initialize the system settings. Tap the
Reset
button next to
Reset DriveX statistics to initialize the DriveX statistics.
8.3 Accessing and configuring the GPS
A GPS module is used to include the location data in the recorded videos. On the Live view screen, tap the
Home menu button ( )

to view the GPS features. The connection status, time
(UTC), vehicle speed, current elevation, and Horizontal Dilution of Precision (HDOP) are displayed on the
screen.
Tap the
Reset
button next to
Reset GPS
to initialize the GPS, and allow it to locate the current position.
Horizontal Dilution of Precision (HDOP)
HDOP is a value that refers to GPS deviation due to satellite positioning.
8.4 Viewing the vehicle operation
After configuring the DriveX settings, you can monitor the vehicle operation from the Menu screen (DriveX
features may not be available in some countries, and the setting menus may be disabled, or may not be
displayed at all).
On the Live view screen, tap the Home button ( )

to monitor
the vehicle operation. The operating status of the turn signals, brake, and accelerator pedal may be
monitored on the screen.
This menu cannot be accessed if the OBD2 cable (sold separately) is not installed or if the DriveX settings
are not properly configured.
