4.  Connect the power cord to the power-inlet connector on the 

detector. 

NOTICE 

Before connecting the detector to the power line, be sure that 

no condensation is present in the device. Condensation in the device can 
damage the electronics and optics. If you suspect that condensation is 
present, allow the device to warm up to room temperature. This may 
take several hours. Wait until the condensation is completely gone 
before proceeding. 

 
5.  Connect the free end of the power cord to an appropriate power 

source.
