5. Holding the pyrolyzer tube in place, apply the Kaowool insulation over the
top of the insulation (Figure 10-17).

6. Holding the insulation and pyrolyzer tube, gently attach the housing lid
against the insulation, allowing both ends of the tube to come out of the
lid approximately 1/2”. Attach one of the graphite ferrules and one of the
fittings removed earlier to each of the pyrolyzer tube ends. See Figure 10-
18.

7. Gently slide the lid back into the housing and secure it using the screws
and washers removed earlier.
