Identifying Unit Safety and
Warning Decals

Serial number decals, refrigerant type decals and
warning decals appear on all Thermo King

®

equipment. These decals provide information that
may be needed to service or repair the unit.
Service technicians should read and follow the
instructions on all warning decals. See above
figure.

Locating Serial Numbers

Serial numbers can be found on the component’s
nameplate.

•

Electric Motor Nameplate: Attached to the
motor housing.

•

Compressor Nameplate: On front of the
compressor.

•

Unit Nameplate: On unit frame in power cord
storage compartment.

•
