HOW TO RECORD MESSAGES
Please follow the simple following operations: call the system from a DTMF telephone. When the system
answers, press ###, choose language of programming guide and then enter programming password (default
is 3333). The system will play the message: “Start programming…”
Write down your messages before spelling, in order to get your task simpler and improve your result. Read
them again in order to give the message a more clear and pleaseful intonation, and to convey quietness and
confidence to callers. Avoid fast spelling and anything else could result in misunderstanding.
10.1
Memory allocation for Day/Night/Festivity/Holiday (M1-M2-M3-M4) messages
Memory totally available for operational modes messages recording is 120 seconds. All this capability is
splitted in 4 banks whose length depends on the value of parameter 28 (see tabel in par. 9.8). Keep in mind
to choose message length allocation first, as any other following re-allocation would result in deletion of
every message. The default programming (available also after a system general reset) reserves the
following space for message recording:
DAY = 20 sec. NIGHT = 40 sec. FESTIVITY = 30 sec. HOLIDAY = 30 sec.
It is possible to maintain this allocation by leave unchanged parameter 28, otherwise please remember to do
this BEFORE recording any message.
Note
From firmware version 1.14 and on, T11S/T12S has a new feature which allows to triplicate message length
in return of disabling answering machine service.
At the same time programming software (via serial port) was led to version 1.5.
If the unit is being programmed by telephone, in order to enable this new feature set parameter 29
(answering machine configuration) on value 4 (previously value range was from 0 to 3)
If the unit is being programmed by T12Win, in order to enable this new feature set parameter 29 (answering
machine configuration) on “disabled”. This parameter has absolute priority over all other answering machine
parameters.
