Note ¾ CAUTION: Any access code may be masked, that is the system can recognize it even if
deliberately entered with a foregoing set of random DTMF characters. Thus remember not to
use similar passwords, that is password sequences must be unique. I.e. 3, 33 and 333.
¾ Even in case of bad values setting, the parameter program level access is granted
(parameter 19).
This system is provided with five different password, each one for a different service. This is not a misleading
choice, but was made in order to make different services available for different users. Consider the following
case as an example:
System installer : technical personnel who knows password in parameter 19 and this way has free access
towards all parameters, many of which essentially technical and useful during functionality arrangement.
Operator : may only know password in parameter 20, in order to retrieve messages on answering machine,
managing them even through notification service, and switch operational mode when convenient.
Maintenance man : knowing remote control password may activate or deactivate the relay contact and any
facility connected to. Parameter 21.
Available personnel
: may be reached by alarm notification service and acquaint (or cancel) any telephone
alert by means of password in parameter 22 only.
Commercial agents
: may take the most out of knowing password in parameter 23, in order to make phone
calls with local fares, since they are charged on the local system even if remotely made.
