Answering machine message notification service details
If the new message notification feature is enabled, system notifies the default user (parameter 55) on the
first new message the answering machine receives, with a programmable number of notification alerts
(parameter 42) sent at programmable intervals (parameter 41). Following messages do not start the
notification feature again. Any operational mode (Day/Night etc.) distinctly allows enabling notification feature
depending on parameter 31.
•
T11/T12 engages line and dials the number selected in parameter 55.
•
It waits 90 seconds for the called user to identify him/herself by entering the notification service
password (parameter 20, default 4444)
•
If the password provided is wrong, or the system receives no answer within a time interval delimited
by a time-out, T11/T12 releases the line, waits for the time interval between attempts to expire
(parameter 41), decreases the number of attempts left (parameter 42) and sends a new alert.
•
When the number of attempts left decreases to 0, the system stops sending alerts and marks the
message as not deliverable.
•
Notification attempts stop even if the user calls the system and enters the password to retrieve
messages left in the answering machine: the final aim of this feature is to alert the default user of the
presence of new messages, not to verify they have been actually delivered.

parameter 8 is set for English language) press either 3 for the next messages to be played in
English, or nothing or any other digit for the next messages to be played in Italian.

•
Playback of the message:”Press 0 for answering machine, 1 to start programming”, then press 1.
•
Playback of the message:“Mode … change to..”
•
Select new mode entering the corresponding digit (i.e. digit 2 = op.mode 2 Night);
•
Playback of the message:“Accepted”
•
Now that T11/T12 is in the new Operational Mode, system can be hanged up.

Alarm telephone dialer
The system allows to trigger a cyclic telephone call to 2 distinct numbers, one per alarm, in order to notify the
assigned personnel. These attempts can be set off upon entering an appropriate password. If an alarm
contact is re-actuated (re-opening and then closing again) the system will trigger a new series of notices for
that alarm. On the other hand, if the contact remains closed after the first alarm, at the end of the attempts,
or after the acquisition of the appropriate password by the assigned personnel, no other notices are sent.
•
T11/T12 constantly checks the two incoming alarm detection circuits.
•
If a contact is closed for more than 200 milliseconds, the number associated with the alarm is dialed
as soon as the line is available.
•
The system waits 90 seconds for the called person to identify him/herself, by entering the alarm
password (campo 22, default 6666).
•
If the system receives no answer within the time interval, it hangs up, waits for the time interval
between attempts to expire (parameter 35), decreases the number of attempts left (parameter 35)
and finally recalls.
•
When the system runs out of remaining attempts, it stops reporting alarms unless a new one is
triggered.
•
If the user called identify him/herself entering the correct password, the system will play the
message: “Accepted”, and set the alarm mode off.
As explained further in this manual, the second contact may be used to connect an external daily/weekly
clock (i.e. TEMA mod. TX216/GS) in order to automatically switch between 2 operational modes (i.e.
day/night).
