Use the following procedure and Figure 6--2 and Figure 6--4 to install the cover.

NOTE

. Install the cover tightly against the chassis. This will ensure that the

module fits into adjacent slots in the mainframe.

Place the module on its right side.

Place the cover onto the chassis.

If you are replacing the cover of the slave module in a merged module pair,
refer to Figure 6--3 to feed the merge cable through the cover and then install
the merge cable bracket as shown.
