6.6.2
Automatic Regeneration Option
Note:
Never use the membranes again after a valve has been
opened.
Preparation
1
Swing down and remove the regeneration solution bottle.
2
Screw on a bottle filled with water and swing it upwards.
3
Open the solenoid valve via the <Maintenance>/<Regeneration>/
<Manual Operation> menu item and rinse it thoroughly with
water.
4
Empty the regeneration solution tube and the flow cell
completely.
5
Switch off the instrument.
Dismount
1
Remove the tubes from the defective valve.

Unscrew knurled nut [A].
3
Disconnect the coil body [B] from the solenoid valve.
4
Unmount the automatic regeneration module from the panel.
5
Unmount the solenoid valve from the automatic regeneration
module.
Disassembling
1
Unscrew solenoid support [C] and bottom nut [O]. Take care not
to lose the springs!

Remove the membrane holders. Normally, the membranes stick
to the valve body.
3
Remove the membranes with pointed pliers. Do not use the
membranes again!
4
Clean the valve body [H] with soft detergent.
