12.4 GUIDANCE OF EMC EXTERNAL ACCESSORIES
INSTALLATION AND SELECTION
External EMC input filter between inverter and power supply is not only to restrain
interference to inverter by ambient electromagnetic noise, and to avoid interference to
ambient equips by inverter. In order to meet standard of C2 level, it should add external
suitable EMC filter on inverter input terminal.
12.4.1 NOTICE OF EMI INPUT FILTER INSTALLATION:
Please obey rated values for using the filter. Because filter is type I electrical equipment,
filter metal shell should contact well with installation cabinet metal with good Conductive
continuity. Otherwise, it would cause the risk of electric shock and affect EMC efficiency
badly. The earth of filter and inverter PE terminal must earth on same GND. If not, it will
affect EMC efficiency badly. Please contact our technical support for EMI filter selection
and installation.
12.4.2 DC REACTOR
DC Reactor is mainly used in inverter and rectifying for increasing power factor and
filtering interference of stripe, voltage, current, and decreasing inverter harmonic
interference.

electromagnetic interference. Except CE requirements, user should take some
necessary action to avoid this interference.
