The long tab of the straps should face inward.

Flying Struts:
Lightly sand all hardwood
struts and paint desired color with a
lightweight lacquer spray.

Strut Fittings (
make two)
- Make a 90
degree bend 1/8 in. from the end of a
length of .032 wire.
Make another 90 bend 3/4 in. from, and
perpendicular to, the first bend.
Trim wire 1/8 in. from the last bend. Your
completed fitting should look like this.

Using a scrap pice of .032 wire, scrape
out the etched channel on each end of
the struts, until the wire will nest fully
within the channel.
