LIMIT SWITCHES & RAMPS
9.1
Two stop
Fit limit ramps to the left hand guide using Halfen nuts and cap head screws. Position to the
approximate location to activate the switches. Ensure Halfen nuts are correctly fitted.
Operate the lift up until it reaches top floor level. Position the ramp so that the up stopping
switch is activated
Set the anti creep switch so that it operates should the lift drop 20mm.
On the left hand guide position the up ultimate limit ramp to operate the switch a maximum
50mm above upper floor level.
Bring the platform down to the lower floor and set the down stopping ramp in the same way.
Shims can be added to the switch fixing brackets if required to give lateral adjustment.
Note:
It is important that the kicker
rollers are positioned correctly. If the
platform is not ‘snug’ in the guides the
switches may not operate correctly
