4.2 0.15m/s Control Valve - IGV
•
To remove the lid, use the triangular key to unlock and pull the lid handle forward
towards you, not up, for about 50mm. The lid can then be removed.

The oil tank holds about 30 Litres of oil and is to be filled with HVI 32 Hydraulic oil. A
dipstick is provided on the filler cap.

1/2" hose and fittings are to be used with this pump unit.

A hand pump is fitted as standard on this unit and although not required for lift
operation, may be useful during installation. It may be difficult to get the hand pump
working due to trapped air and a number of strokes may be necessary before it
functions correctly. There is a bleed screw that can be used, which is marked on the
diagram. Whilst pumping, undo the screw slightly until oil is seen and then close.
Repeat as required.

The valve block has been set up by IGV but it is possible that some adjustment is
necessary and valve locations and adjustments are detailed on the next page:
Note: Only make small adjustments at a time before checking lift operation. It is usually good
practice to press the emergency lowering valve slightly before checking adjustments.
