Use the following steps to connect the nTier500 to an iSCSI tape library or
other iSCSI device.
1.
Select
Configuration > iSCSI
.
2.
Enter the IP address of the device to which you want to connect.
Note:
The iSCSI page (see
Figure 37
) only lets you create connections.
To disconnect from a device, log into the Windows operating
system (see
Accessing the Windows Operating System on
page 67
) and disconnect through Windows.
3.
Enter the port to use when communicating to this target. The default
port is 3260.
4.
Select
Discover Targets
to identify iSCSI devices that are at the IP
address you specified in
Step 2 on page 78
and to include them in the
Windows device map. A list of IP addresses displays.
5.
Select one or more of the listed targets, then select
Log On to Selected
Targets
.
The selected devices are added to the Windows device map.
6.
To connect to another device, select
Enter Another IP address
. After the
IP Address field clears, repeat

through
