Installing the nTier500

September 2010

Spectra nTier500 Backup and Archive Appliance

Before You Begin

Obtain the following tools and equipment:

#2 Phillips screwdriver, magnetic if available

Measuring tape (recommended)

Level (recommended)

Identify the location where you will install the nTier500.

Assemble the rack, if necessary.

Unpack the rack mount kit and identify the components listed in the
following table.
