Open the drive sled handle by rotating it outward and toward the left
to disengage the drive sled from the chassis.
5.
While supporting the drive sled, first slide it out of the chassis about
1 inch and leave it in that position for approximately 20 seconds to
allow the drive platters to stop spinning. Then, slide the sled
completely out of the chassis.
6.
If the replacement drive is already installed in a sled, skip to
Install the
New Drive on page 156
.
If the replacement drive is not mounted in a sled, continue with
Attach
the New Drive to the Sled on page 155
.
