The PONYBENCH-B is used as a lift in bodyshops and
is not equipped for use with a pull system. The base
frame structure (1) to which all the stress is transferred
composed of a welded steel structure sunken into the fl oor
to which the supports and runners for the sliding wheels
of the pantograph lifting arms and the safety stops that

The lifting system consists of a single-acting hydraulic jack

The lift is moved up and down by means of a gear pump
driven by an electrohydraulic unit installed in the control
console (4).The pump pressurises a hydraulic circuit that
permits in and out movement of the rod in the lifting jack.
The hydraulic circuit is provided with a pressure relief valve
and a safety lock valve to protect against the breakage of
the fl exible pipes.
The electric cables that connect the lift to the control
console and the fl exible pipes that deliver the control unit
oil and the compressed air are housed from in a protective
underground sheath (not provided).The stability of position
of the lift’s upper movable platform is guaranteed by a
safety system consisting of a safety hook (9) automatically

lift descends.
A stroke-end microswitch (10) obliges the operator to
perform descent in two sections, the fi rst to a maximum
