Complete descent

WARNING!  Before  continuing  descent  all  the 

way to the ground, make sure that there are no 

persons, animals or property that may remain 

trapped or crushed below if the vehicle falls.

WARNING! The base of the lift to which the fall-

proof safety hook is attached must always be 

free from all obstacle.

WARNING!  Before  lowering  the  lift,  always 

make sure that there are no pipes or powertool 

cables in the vicinity that may be crushed.

Proceed as follows for in order to complete descent:

• 

Rotate  the  <descent>  selector  (1)  clockwise:  the 

movable platform will continue descending (if the lift 

is already at a height that is lower than the stroke-end 

microswitch  intervention  height,  rotate  the  <ascent> 

selector (2) clockwise).

• 

Keep the selector (1) rotated until the rubber vehicle 

support  buffers  are  released  from  the  weight  of  the 

vehicle and that the weight of the vehicle is no longer 

supported  by  the  lift  (and  the  vehicle  rests  on  the 

ground).

• 

Remove the rubber vehicle support buffers from the 

lifting arms. Rotate the selector (3) counter-clockwise 

until the lifting arms return into themovable platform. 

Rotate  the  <descent>  selector  (1)  clockwise  once 

again until the movable platform disappears into the 

pit.

• 

Keep  the  selector  (1)  rotated  clockwise  until  the 

PONYBENCH BPPLUS movable platform is stopped 

at  the  end  of  its  descent  stroke  at  the  level  of  the 

fl oor.
