4.1.3 CHECKING OPERATION OF THE FALL-PROOF SAFETY HOOK
Check correct operation of the fall-proof safety hook according to the PONYBENCH-B version as follows:
PONYBENCH BEPLUS:
• Make sure that the key has been inserted in
the mushroom-shaped emergency button.
• Rotate the mushroom-shaped emergency
button clockwise until it is released (1).
Press the reset button (2).
• Press the <ascent> button (5) until the
lift rises to at least 60-70 cm above the
fl oor.The fall-proof safety hook will rise
automatically.
• Press the button for descent to the fi rst
section (6); the fall-proof safety hook (9-
fi g.2a) should be engaged by one of the
steel blocks welded tothe base sheet as the
lift descends.
PONYBENCH BPPLUS:
• Rotate the <ascent> selector (2) clockwise
until the lift rises to at least 60-70 cm above
the fl oor.The fall-proof safety hook will rise
automatically.
• Rotate the descent selector (1) counter-
clockwise in “descent to fi rst section” mode
(the safety hook will rise automatically)
and the release it when the hook is near
one of the steel blocks welded to the lift
base sheet in such way that the hook is
engaged.
